Alastair and Iain drove back from the Okanagan to Vancouver with a load of wood on his Jeep. Nearing Vancouver they stopped to let Nessie, his lovely Australian blue heeler, stretch her legs.

Alastair and Jeep

Being in the movie business Dawn and Alastair got us all to turn out for a photo-shoot in Queen Elizabeth park. There is a viewpoint there with a stunning cityscape for a backdrop. However also there are some sculptures of Tourists. Here is one of them having a close encounter with Dawn.

You show some lovely photos of your new little grandson – he looks so sweet. For New Year we went to see our grandchildren near Nashville. We saw the last grandson who is now 5 months old and a sweet baby too – at that age they are not moving too much and you don’t have to run after them as when they are toddlers. I’d love to go back to Vancouver and Victoria – it has been a long time. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I have not written a new post as I was trying to read all my friends’ blogs – I still have to read 20 of them… I don’t forget that you were the first blog I ever read – and that was before I had a blog of my own. Hope 2012 will be very good to you and your family.
