'JE NE SAIS QUOI' MUSIC

I treated myself to a CD this week: Sans Fusils Ni Souliers A Paris. This gal is from Montreal and sings Edith Piaf's known, and not so well-known, songs. I think she's fab. And I like the piano accompanist: Thomas Bartlett. I must find out more about this fellow....

I have been away on a trip in Europe then sick upon return so I have a lot of catching up to do. Reading your post of 30 Oct about National Health Service I’d like to say that the reason the people here in the US do not want it is because they don’t have a clue about it all – huge amounts are paid by lobbyists from insurance companies in ads to scare the US public which does not read much and gets scared quite easily. Money will talk and the public constantly votes against their interest – it’s quite sad. I saw your beautiful views of the sky – with all my traveling I am still using the automatic setting as I have not read the instruction book yet. I also must have pushed the wrong button on my Nikon D40 because now when I look back at a photo the light areas keep flashing and I don’t know how to stop this but I don’t think it will hurt the photos. I still have the Photoshop program in its envelope and have had no time to open it yet – I hope it has some instructions. I went to look for the Christmas Carol version you mentioned and found the trailer, here is the link http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3629253145/ it looks quite interesting. I’ll try to take my nephew to see it when we go to Columbus for the Holidays. I had not heard about it before. I also tried to look on Amazon music to hear the Canadian singer you posted but the CD is coming at the end of the month here. Thanks for coming to my blog while I was away. I missed the computer a lot but it was nice to talk French for a change – since I have not spoken it since 2005 – I just answer my French readers in my blog. Being able to eat some good goat cheese was nice too accompanied by great wines – my cousin is a gourmet cook so it is a treat to visit her.
