The Borders was the setting for the wedding of Alan and Lucy. This beautiful castle (which I will have to get the name of) is where John and Mairi spent the weekend with friends and family. These are all John's photos which I chose because of the way he caught the light.

What a beautiful setting for a wedding! We do not have such opulent historical places like this around here; however, my husband and I were married in a small church downtown San Francisco, and it is now a National Historic Landmark. It was opened in 1895 and withstood the great 1906 earthquake. I’ll do a blog on this when I am more experienced.
