There's only one thing to do when the rain is coming down and it is too wet to go out and take photos, or dry the washing... bake some bread.
John gave me this recipe book for my birthday and it is full of wonderful, tempting photos which inspire even the most jaded cook to get the yeast going.
I had some leftover potatoes (and potato water) from the other evening so tried this Sicilian recipe. Very satisfying.
